Engineering and project delivery

Risk management is a key challenge for decarbonisation projects as it often involves large, complex projects using relatively new technology. Risks to be managed against include technological, financial, political, health and safety as well as classic project delivery risk. Managing against these risks can increase cost estimates and makes it more difficult to achieve a financially feasible project.
